BYTEBYTE

ByteByte is a spherical companion robot with a single glowing cyan lens eye, multi-jointed arms, and a floating lower chassis powered by a light-blue core. Built long before the Great Vanishing and left dormant in the abandoned electrical building where PG first encountered the SuperNova Paddle, ByteByte reactivated the moment PG truly accepted his destiny — and has stayed loyally at his side ever since.

Equal parts scout, shield, and sidekick, ByteByte projects holographic force fields over PG and his squad in combat, scans opponents for weaknesses, and stores every match the Pickle Gamers have ever played inside his scratch-marked casing. He communicates in beeps, boops, and holographic emojis — yet understands human speech perfectly and never misses a cue.

Fiercely devoted to the squad, ByteByte would sooner short-circuit his own power core than abandon a teammate. He is the quiet, constant heartbeat of the Pickle Gamers — the loyal sidekick who reminds them that no hero fights alone.
